Here’s an overview of what you'll learn in the The K-Way: Back to School Edition Course:

Classroom Setup

Module 1 includes a classroom décor pack, student visuals for procedures, layout tips, and designated spaces.

Classroom Management

Module 2 features bucket fillers, building a classroom community, individual charts, SEL strategies, call and responses, and parent communication.

Organization

Module 3 covers desk setup, data management, centers, cubbies/student items, community vs. individual supplies, whiteboard organization, physical games, hard copies, student birthdays, and portfolios.

Readiness Assessments/Data

Module 4 provides Kindergarten readiness assessments, data trackers, staggered days, and non-academic checklists.

Substitute Prep/Forms Needed

Module 5 lists essential class information, schedules, transportation details, procedures, drills, special/support schedules, emergency contacts, and helpful students.

Centers

Module 6 includes letter activities, fine motor tasks, center slides, number mats, transition organization, management expectations, differentiation tips, and small group templates.

Open House

Module 7 features ready confetti, teacher introduction, community supplies, classroom needs, handout forms, change of clothes, setting parent expectations, grading systems, and parent involvement guidelines.

Lesson Plans

Module 8 gives you first-day essentials, weekly activities including bucket fillers, rotations, handwriting, letters and sounds introduction, and a monthly scope and sequence.
